Biography

Dr. Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu (born 18 December 1956) was the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources and former Group Managing Director, Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.

Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC):

Provided committee leadership for the development of the OPEC Pricing and Markets Modulation Agreement that was adopted by the OPEC Charter in December 2017 and renewed in June 2017 and January 2018. This is the OPEC / Non-OPEC Members Agreement that has ushered the current price stability in global crude oil pricing
