Paul McCafferty and Gustavo Baquero, Senior Vice Presidents of Equinor Exploration and Production International, and Nina Koch, Equinor’s Country Manager, attended the high-profile Angola Oil & Gas (AOG) 2021 conference in Luanda on September 9th and 10th.

McCafferty, Baquero, and Koch drove a vigorous conversation on the existing and future problems encountered in the business, reinforcing their commitment to Angola as well as their successful cooperation with the Angolan government.

The Norwegian-based energy company presented its achievements, future ambitions, and answers to the issues encountered in the global oil and gas market as it celebrated 30 years in Angola this year.

Equinor has been a driving factor in the Congo basin’s exploration and production industry as a partner in eight (8) offshore producing fields. The firm is committed to developing relationships in Angola to enhance sectoral activities and further position the company as a top hydrocarbon competitor, with an equity production of roughly 120,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.
