Angolan Oil Revenues Increased by 8.7% in February

Oil tax revenues in January and February 2021 amounted to 633.7 million kwanzas, with about 71.4 million barrels of crude oil exported.

According to available data from the Special Taxation Department (DTE) of the General Tax Administration, published on the official website of the Angolan Ministry of Finance, fiscal oil revenues increased in February by 8.7%, in comparison with January 2021.

In January, oil revenues amounted to 302.5 million kwanzas, with 36.7 million barrels of oil exported at an average oil price of 49 dollars 62 cents. In February, oil revenues amounted to 331.1 million kwanzas, with 34.6 million barrels exported at an average oil price of 55 dollars 79 cents.

According to tax returns submitted to the AGT by the relevant companies, which includes the National Concessionaire, the National Oil, Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANPG), the basis for the revenue was the tax oil revenue (IRP) on oil production (IPP) and on oil transaction (ITP).

Oil tax revenues in January and February 2021 amounted to 633.7 million kwanzas, with about 71.4 million barrels of crude oil exported. Of the total revenue in both months, the value of the ANPG National Concessionaire was 435.8 million Kwanzas.
