Enyo Retail and Supply has announced the commencement of a project to invest in twenty (20) liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) plants in Nigeria. The project is to increase the usage of gas in the country and provide a cleaner and safer energy source.

The Company says “the expansion agenda is in line with the Federal Government’s initiative to deepen the consumption of gas in Nigeria.”

The Chief Executive Officer, Abyomi Awobokun said, “following the Federal Government’s declaration of 2020 as the Year of Gas, Enyo is thrilled to be championing the transition towards cleaner energy, and making efforts to intensifying domestic gas penetration and adoption in Nigeria.”

Mr. Awobokun said that the first auto-gas station will open in five (5) to six (6) months, and investment in 20 LPG plants will be made over the next two or three years.

The Sales and Marketing lead, Habiba Abubakar said: “We have already identified sites for our autogas points, and an approach has been mapped out to ensure that these points become operational soon.”
