Following the prior announcement that Total would change its name to TotalEnergies to reflect its strategy transition into a comprehensive energy firm, shareholders unanimously approved the name change at the Ordinary and Extraordinary Shareholders’ Meeting on May 28, 2021.

TotalEnergies has decisively established a course for itself with this new name and visual identity, which is that of a broad energy corporation committed to creating and providing energies that are even more affordable, reliable, and clean.
